PROJECT OVERVIEW
When considering Sri Lankan fruits market considerable number of portions automatically fallen in to low quality category because lack of knowledge and using traditional methods, so just time has been arrived to move in to technological method. Majority of countries in this fruits industry mainly focus on export market, but when consider Sri Lanka there is no any treatments for fruits but when we look over other countries such as Vietnam, South Korea, China, Japan, Republic of Chile, Canada, Poland, Israel …. Etc.… mainly consider about export market than own their indoor market demand as well as they are using new technology as well as Nano technology to expand their product quality and Harvest outcome.
Because of this reason we have decided as RICH MARK HOLDING (PVT) LTD to become a market leader of the fruits Export Market under the Brand Name of “SL-RMH” with sub brands under various of fruits range of products. We are going cater this range of products as a value-added product just not like raw product.
ALREADY WE HAVE SELECTED RANGE OF FRUITS UNDER THREE CATEGORIES
01. Grown and maintained by RICH MARK HOLDING (PVT) LTD. This project going and just practicing under two methods,
- cultivation in own land and total harvest and profit belongs to Company. Land owns by the company as well as harvest also directly move in to production process
- Run as a joint venture that means land is owned by third party and harvest can be bared as pre-agreed pre-agreement method. Our standard agreement portion is 25% must be done by company and 75% of cost must be done by land owner. Harvest also allocated based on this cost baring percentage. Not only that the land owners portion also purchased by the company by paying additional 5% of the harvest selling price from the picking point.
02. Purpose of this project is Sri Lankan natural flavor of this fruits introduce to foreign market, selected few of local fruits. Main range of fruits as follows. When considering season considerable amount of weighted harvests have been move in to garbage so there is a huge demand for this harvest from European market. By adding some value to the product can be move in to foreign market. Just distinguished range of fruits and its value addition products as follows.
- Seasonal Rambutan (Sugar syrup canned rambutan without seed to foreign market)
- Sri Lankan Duriyan (vacuum sealed and fully covering pack without husk to midlist countries)
- Mangostin (vacuum sealed pack and bottling sugar syrup with transparent to European market)
- Sri Lankan Jackfruit (dehydrated and vacuum sealed pack to European market)
- Pineapple (canned pineapple and dehydrated product for any country)
- Watermelon (it can be done value added product to foreign market)
- Other coconut-based products (there is a huge demand for coconut cream and coconut water from the USA)
